Q. What is Club Bounce® ?
A. Club Bounce® is a night club that caters to BBW (big beautiful women), BHM
(big handsome men) and those who admire us. People of all shapes, sizes,
backgrounds, race and style come to Club Bounce® ™ to enjoy the accepting atmosphere,
awesome music and good times!
Club Bounce® was created in June 2004 by Lisa Marie Garbo, who is an icon in
the size acceptance community for creating this wonderful club for people of
all sizes and walks of life to feel desired, loved and accepted. Lisa Marie
has been featured on The Insider, Dr. Phil, Inside Edition, Good Morning
America, Japanese & UK Prime time shows as well as many TV documentaries & radio
interviews relating to plus size people and the community that has been
developing and growing since the birth of Club Bounce® . Club Bounce® is the #1 BBW
night club in the world. We are the only BBW night club that is open 2 days a
week, every week of the year. Club Bounce® ™ is here for you, the plus size
community on many levels. Lisa Marie's dream has come true in regards to helping
people of all sizes change their lives for the better, to be more confident
and happy in there every day lives no matter what size you are. Club Bounce® ™
has helped people of all sizes to realize we are NOT 2nd class citizens and we
will not accept the discrimination that the media has put upon us. The size
acceptance movement has begun and Club Bounce® is one of the largest stepping
stones that has helped this happen.

Q. How long has Club Bounce been open?
A. We opened full time in June 2004 in the LBC and plan to be open for many
more years to come.
Q. What is your cover charge?
A. Fridays it is $10 before 10 p.m. and $15 after 10 p.m. and on Saturdays it is $10 all night.
Q. What type of music do you play?
A. We play Hip Hop, old skool,
R&B, top 40, reggaetone, salsa and all requests featuring DJ Dime.
Q. Do you have a dress code?
A. Yes we do. No t-shirts, extra baggy/saggy jeans, sweats, sweat bands,
doo-rags, hoodies or bandanas. No sun glasses, baseball caps, sports jerseys or
heavy jackets.
Guys play it safe and wear a collared shirt. (Jeans, tennis shoes and plain hats are ok)
Q. Why do you have a strict dress code and security?
A. This is enforced by the hotel management and Club Bounce® stands behind them.
Our goal is to have a fun, classy and safe night club for all to enjoy. It helps
make for a great time to dress up, dance, drink and socialize!
Q. What are your drink prices?
A. Well drinks $5.00, Well with juice $6.00, the Bounce drink $5.00 all night,
Long Island & Long Beach Ice Teas $6.00 all night, Premium drinks $7.00 -
$8.00, Shots vary from $5.00-$8.00.
Draft beer domestic $3.00 Bud light, Coors light and Miller light.Draft
beer, Samuel Adams and imported $4.00. Bottle domestic beer $4.00, Bottle
Imported beer $5.00
Q. Can I make a reservation?
A. Yes we can take reservations for parties from 10-40 people. Email
BBWCLUBBOUNCE@AOL.COM with the date you want your
party, for how many and your phone number within 1 week of the date of your
party.
You can not bring any food, cake or decorations in the club due to hotel
management (we hope to change that in the near future), but you're more than
welcome to book a birthday party or any type of celebration at no cost at Club
Bounce®. We only ask that you have at least 2 people from your party at the club
by 9:30 p.m. to hold your area. If its a birthday party the birthday person
gets in FREE with ID.
Q. How do I book a hotel room?
A. Just simply call the best western/golden sails hotel @ 562-596-1631 mention
Club Bounce to get a reduced rate. Club Bounce is located in the hotel at The
PCH club.
Q. Do I have to be plus size to come to Club Bounce?
A. This is such a silly question but people have asked this. The answer is of
course NO! Club Bounce is a night club of size acceptance, which means everyone
is welcome! Big, small, short, tall, black, white, fat, skinny and
everything in between. As soon as you walk in the Club you will know this to be true
and you will feel the positive vibe and accepting atmosphere.
Q. Do you have videos from Club Bounce?
A. Yes we do, all our videos are on YouTube, just CLICK HERE and you will see
hundreds of fun videos from the Ladies Room Chronicles, Live Performances and more!
Q. There is a picture and/or video of me on the site that I do not want on the website or YouTbe, can
I get it removed?
A. Yes of course you can! We love to take pictures and videos at the club each
and ever week, but if for some reason you are not happy with the picture or
video we would be happy to remove it for you. Just email Lisa Marie at
BBWCLUBBOUNCE@AOL.COM and it will be taken care of.
Q. Do you ever have guest DJ's or live performances?
A. Yes we do, please always check the Club Bounce info page for any upcoming
events, special guests, performances, contests or guest DJ's. We add and/or
change the club bounce info page on a weekly basis.
